If Covid allows and you are visiting Rome on vacation, please feel free to contact me and arrange a group private tour. I only tour on Mondays and I'm afraid I don't tour on weekends as this is family/ministry time. If you enjoyed The Lord's Prayer tour online, in- person is a whole new experience - actually it's very similar indeed but involves coffee, ice-cream and pizza - much better! On this child-friendly tour, you will see how ancient Rome impacted on Jesus' life, death and ministry. You will visit the site of the Temple of Jupiter and learn why Pontius Pilate was so afraid of it. You'll see the Temple of Julius Caesar and appreciate how its' creation influenced the death of Jesus. And at the Temple of Mars you will see how this Roman god of war still influences our culture and Marvel movies down to this day. We only visit places of genuine Biblical interest and we don't enter sites that you have to pay for. It would be a shame on a three hour tour to spend an hour or so in a line. Places visited: Summer Version (avoiding the extreme Rome heat as much as possible) - Pantheon - Theatre of Pompeii (near Campo di Fiori) - Piazza Argentina (Julius Caesar was killed here) - We then head to the Forum to see the Temple of Mars and Saturn. - Paul's prison Places visited: Winter Version - Circus Maximus - Acqua Claudia - Arch of Constantine -Colosseum - We then head to the Forum to see the Temple of Mars and Saturn. - Paul's prison Duration: The tour lasts roughly 3 hours but it can be tailored to meet the needs of any group. If you book this tour online, please also send me an email and I will arrange a whatsapp group so that i can send meeting locations etc in real time.
